The British built diesel drive waste shredder is presently in our works undergoing a full refurbishment program which will allow this waste shredder to be finished to the buyer’s exact specifications.

The diesel drive waste shredder is a high torque slow speed twin shaft machine with asynchronous shafts turning at 17 and 9 rpm respectively.   The blades are Hardox 70 mm wide units with 462 mm centres complete with 60 mm Hardox cleaning combs all mounted to hexagonal shafts.

A Cat 3406 300Kw engine drives a Dennison closed loop hydraulic pump which is mated to a Hagglunds CA100 drive unit on a bespoke heavy duty double drive reduction gear box.

The shredder housing is a fully machined and fabricated unit with a 1,700 mm x 1,187 mm throat and is complete with a substantial in feed hopper and out feed conveyor.

The diesel drive waste shredder and power pack units are housed in a stand alone steel support structure and weighs in at approximately 24 tonnes.

The diesel drive waste shredder is complete with electronic control panel and full automatic operating systems, and the diesel drive waste shredder is available with an optional modem remote fault and servicing facility.  See video below.
