The new JR Minisort Metal Analyser is a compact, lightweight and simple to use analyser that is able to identify and sort different alloys of different base materials.
The cordless hand unit of the JR Minisort Metal Analyser permits 250 + analyses from a single charge; the analyser has a detachable battery and comes complete with a mains charger which can also be used to power the hand held analyser unit.
Battery recharge is achieved in 2 hours and the JR Minisort Metal Analyser can be connected to a computer / Laptop and operates on Windows Mobile TM environment with RMG proprietary software, with simple touch screen interface for ease of use.
The JR Minisort Metal Analyser comes pre-loaded with an Alloy table to keep things simple, however this can be easily amended when the unit is connected to a computer / laptop to allow operators to work with their own preferences of materials.
The JR Minisort Metal Analyser operates on a 1.7A dc arc plasma generated via a silver electrode with preset factory settings, for optimum performance and the unit also has Bluetooth TM technology installed which can be used for data transfer and printing.
Testing the Metal
Each base metal has three test properties -
1 Single Burn 2 Analysis (Multi Burn) 3 ID only - where only the alloy name is displayed
Analysis The JR Minisort Metal Analyser can be calibrated for alloys of a range of different base metals including Itons and steels, Aluminium, Copper, Titanium, Nickel, Zinc and Magnesium.
Other bases may be available on request, and calibrations are prepared against certified standards, analysed samples or suitable alloys.
