New BioEnergy Facility Planned for North West

Posted on Wednesday, 14 May 2008 07:12AM by
Planning permission has been obtained to develop a new BioEnergy facility in Northwich, Cheshire.  Energy firm, Bedminster International, and Organic Waste Management have joined forces to build a £35 million facility which will process 150,000 tonnes of waste annually, using the latest technology to separate the biodegradable element of waste and convert it into green renewable energy.  The facility, the first of its kind in the UK, will work closely with waste producers and local authorities in the north of England.
