Description
Scrap-Car-Collections is a nationwide partnership led by JBM Environmental Services Ltd, offering a fast, reliable scrap car collection service.

In addition to taking cars for disposal throughout the UK and Europe via our extensive agent network, we offer car transportation, car parts and safe storage facilities for your vehicle whether it is within the UK or Europe.  The aim of the service is to provide a one stop shop for our clients and their various needs relating to vehicles, particularly collections.

So how does scrap car collections and recycling work using scrap-car-collections.com?

Step One:
You complete the form on the scrap-car-collections.com website.  Simply enter your contact information and vehicle details into the 'Scrap Car Request' form and click 'Donate to Charity' or 'Make an offer'. Please consider donating as these scrap cars benefit disadvantaged young people by providing vocational learning opportunities.

Step Two:
Scrap-car-collections.com will contact you within 24 hours to arrange a suitable time for your scrap vehicle collections and removal.

Step Three:
Scrap-car-collections.com collect your vehicle.  On our arrival you will hand over your Log Book / DVLA V5 Document, and keys. If you do not have your log book or keys please indicate on the 'Scrap Car Request' form.

Step Four:
C.o.D. & ELV Certification - Our agent will issue you with a Certificate of Destruction (CoD) and an End of Life Vehicle (ELV) Certificate for your records. Scap-car-collections.com also issue copies of the CoD and ELV Certificate to the DVLA after collections. 

Step Five:
Scrap-car-collections.com arrange for your vehicle to be destroyed.  Your scrap motor vehicle will be destroyed at an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) where it will be thoroughly de-polluted and recycled appropriately in co-operation with DVLA and Environment Agency Regulations.

JBM Environmental Services Ltd work alongside a charity based in Hartlepool - Owton Fens Community Association (OFCA). The charity works with the long term unemployed assisting with on the job training, CV's and work experience suitable to their skills and needs, and our vehicle collections service is crucial to these people gaining new and valuable skills.

The skills gained within the placement have proved to be an advantage to both the people involved and the wider community, as friends and family take advantage of the skills our clients have gained during their time with us.

The main objective, however, is to find clients jobs in the market place; this has been successfully carried out over the last few years, both within the motor mechanics courses we run and the general recycling activities clients will learn during their stay.  OFCA have been in operation for over twenty years and have successfully worked with various disadvantaged groups in the wide ranging schemes they operate.
