Our upgraded British designed and built SandFlo fluidised bed separators are super efficient dry separation systems for secondary metals recovery.
These separators are produced by the market respected Blaker engineering company down in West Sussex.
Extremely cost effective and productive our SandFlo units can operate as a stand alone unit or part of an existing recycling line.
Originally built to process downstream metals the SandFlo separators are now used by many others sectors of the recycling industry.
Based on a system of sand circulating around a vibrating trough with air passing through it creating a buoyancy which scrap particles sink in to.
Capable pf separating particles of 50mm or less the SandFlo fluidised bed separators have a throughput capability of 2.5 tonnes per hour.
A waste stream previously sorted by magnet systems for ferrous can then be further separated with a SandFlo unit.
Our SandFlo separators leave sorted materials dry and the sand content is constantly being recirculated.
