Advertise and Sell terms and conditions

Effective date: 29/10/2026

These terms govern the paid Advertise & Sell listing service supplied by Just-Recycling Ltd, trading as Just-Recycling (we, us or our), to the person or business placing an advertisement (you or the Seller). They apply to this advertising facility only.

Business address: Rose Cottage, Engine Lane, Yarburgh, Lincolnshire, LN11 0PW. Email: info@just-recycling.com. Telephone: 07767 235 415.

A consumer is an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A business Seller is anyone purchasing this service for business purposes. An individual or sole trader can be a business Seller.

1 Listing duration and service

1.1 Each accepted advertisement runs for six weeks from publication, unless the item is sold or the advertisement is removed earlier under these terms. We will confirm the publication and expiry dates.

1.2 At the end of the listing period, the advertisement expires and is removed from public view. Each listing fee covers only the advertisement and services described in your order.

1.3 You may request a renewal before expiry. Renewals are subject to our acceptance and payment of the fee disclosed at that time. We will not renew a listing or charge a renewal fee without your agreement.

1.4 You may submit listing details through our online facility when it is available. Submissions are subject to review before publication. Maintenance and technical interruptions may affect availability; we will take reasonable steps to restore the service. This does not affect your rights if we fail to provide the agreed service.

2 Orders fees and refunds

2.1 The listing fee, applicable taxes and any additional agreed charges will be disclosed before you place your order. Payment must be made in full before publication.

2.2 Your order is accepted when we send written confirmation of acceptance. An automatic acknowledgement of receipt is not acceptance. If we decline your order, we will refund any payment for it in full.

2.3 If you are a business Seller and request removal after publication, no refund is due solely because you no longer need the advertisement, including where the item has sold. This does not affect remedies available if we breach the contract.

2.4 Consumer cancellation and refund rights are set out in section 4. Outside the statutory cancellation period, any amount retained following a consumer’s cancellation must be fair and reflect our actual net loss, taking account of services already provided, costs saved and reasonable steps to reduce the loss. We will explain any deduction and refund the balance.

2.5 Nothing in these terms excludes a refund, price reduction or other remedy to which you are entitled by law where we have failed to provide the service properly.

3 Removal requested by the Seller

3.1 You may request removal of your advertisement at any time without giving a reason. Email info@just-recycling.com with your name and listing or order reference. We will remove it as soon as reasonably practicable.

3.2 Removal does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refunds are governed by sections 2 and 4. You must tell us promptly when an advertised item is sold, including through another website or privately.

4 Consumer cancellation rights

4.1 If you are a consumer entering into this contract online or at a distance, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until the end of 14 days after the day it is made. This period may be extended where required by law, including where the required cancellation information has not been supplied.

4.2 To cancel, tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by emailing info@just-recycling.com or writing to the business address above. Sending your cancellation before the deadline is sufficient.

4.3 We will not start providing the service during the cancellation period unless you expressly request that we do so. If you do not request an early start, the service will begin after that period has ended.

4.4 If you expressly request an early start and then cancel during the cancellation period, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time you tell us you are cancelling, calculated against the full service and agreed price. We may make this deduction only where the law permits and we have given you the required information. No charge is due for service supplied in that period without your express request or where the required information was not provided.

4.5 Publishing an advertisement begins the listing service; publication alone does not mean the six-week service has been fully performed. You lose the statutory right to cancel following full performance only where the legal conditions are met, including your prior express request to start and acknowledgement that the right will be lost upon full performance.

4.6 We will make any refund due following statutory cancellation without undue delay and within 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling. We will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you will not incur a refund fee.

4.7 These statutory consumer cooling-off rights do not apply to business Sellers. This does not remove any rights a business Seller has under the contract or applicable law.

5 Refusal suspension and removal

5.1 We may refuse, suspend or remove a listing where we reasonably believe it is unlawful, misleading, infringes another person’s rights, creates a safety or fraud risk, or materially breaches these terms or listing requirements made available before you ordered.

5.2 Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct it. We may act immediately where necessary to protect users, comply with the law or address a serious breach.

5.3 If removal results from your breach, we may retain only such sums as we are legally entitled to retain. For consumers, any deduction must be fair and proportionate to our actual net loss, taking account of costs saved. We will explain any deduction.

5.4 If we end a paid listing early for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will refund the fee attributable to the unused listing period. This does not limit any further remedy available by law.

5.5 Removal from public view does not necessarily delete every associated record. We handle personal data and retain records in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

6 Seller responsibilities

6.1 You must provide accurate and non-misleading descriptions, specifications, dimensions, condition information and operational histories, and promptly correct any material errors.

6.2 You must own the item or have authority to advertise and sell it. You must disclose any finance, liens or other third-party interests and ensure that you are legally entitled to complete the sale.

6.3 You are responsible for ensuring that the advertisement and any resulting sale comply with applicable law. You must not advertise prohibited goods or conceal material safety information.

6.4 You must tell us promptly if the item is sold or withdrawn from sale so that the advertisement can be removed or marked as sold.

7 Photographs and other uploaded material

7.1 Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with their existing owners. Uploading material does not transfer ownership to us.

7.2 You must own the material or have permission covering its use by both you and us as described here. You must not upload unauthorised competitor images, stock photographs or other third-party material.

7.3 You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display and distribute the material to provide and promote your listing through our website and marketing channels during its term. We may allow service providers acting for us to use it for those purposes.

7.4 We may crop, resize, format and add anti-fraud watermarks to images, provided that these changes do not materially misrepresent the item.

7.5 When the listing ends, we will stop new promotional use and remove material from channels we control within a reasonable period. This does not require recall of material already distributed, such as emails, or prevent retention of lawful internal records and backups. Any separate ongoing marketing use requires your further permission.

8 Our role and liability

8.1 For this facility, we provide an advertising platform. We do not act as the Seller’s agent, broker or auctioneer and are not a party to a sale agreed between a buyer and a Seller.

8.2 We do not guarantee that an advertisement will result in enquiries or a sale. Buyers and Sellers are responsible for their own checks and transaction arrangements. We do not independently guarantee the condition, safety, legal status or suitability of listed equipment, or a buyer’s ability to pay. This does not exclude responsibility for our own statements or conduct.

8.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing restricts a consumer’s statutory rights, including the right to services provided with reasonable care and skill.

8.4 If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was contemplated by both parties when the contract was made. The business limitations below do not apply to you.

8.5 If you are a business Seller, subject to clause 8.3 and to the extent the law permits, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a particular advertisement is limited to the fee paid for that advertisement’s relevant six-week listing period. This does not reduce any refund expressly due under these terms.

8.6 For business Sellers only, and subject to clause 8.3 and applicable law, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption, or for indirect or consequential loss.

9 Complaints and governing law

9.1 Please send complaints to info@just-recycling.com with your order reference and details of the issue. We will seek to resolve complaints promptly and in good faith. You are not required to wait 30 days or complete a compulsory negotiation process before exercising your legal rights.

9.2 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your country of habitual residence.

9.3 For business Sellers, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may bring proceedings in England and Wales or in the courts available to them under applicable consumer jurisdiction rules, including the courts of their home jurisdiction where those rules provide.

10 Changes to these terms

10.1 The terms accepted when your order is placed apply to that order. Revised terms apply to future orders and renewals, unless a change to an existing contract is required by law or expressly agreed with you. We will not retrospectively reduce your rights by updating the website.
