The used Metpro pre shredder is a low speed high torque horizontal twin shaft, tooth wheel shredder designed to tear apart bundles of scrap, vehicle body shells with or without engines in complete, baled or flattened format, white goods and mixed iron & steel up to 8mm thick.

With a throughput of up to 45 tonnes per the hour the used Metpro pre shredder reduces the risk of explosions in secondary processing Frag’s and Hammer Mills and can increase their production by up to 50%.
