Consisting of the following equipment the BJD Aluminium Shredding Plant was previously employed on Old Rolled Ally and Irony Aluminium to very good effect.
- In feed conveyor
- BJD 42 x 36 Flexi Tooth Hammer Mill with 500Hp Volvo diesel drive engine in semi sound proofed Hook Lift unit
- Out feed conveyor with over band magnet
- Drum magnet
- Magnapower Eddy Current separator
- Out feed stacking conveyor
Minor repair work is needed to the overband magnet (broken drive chain) otherwise the complete aluminium shredding plant is in very good condition and benefits from a set of new recently fitted hammers in to the BJD 42 x 36 Flexi tooth Hammer Mill shredder.
