Rozzi It’s Only The Largest One
Not only did April have the sale of a brand new shinny grab but it was “Rozzi it’s only the largest one” sold in the UK market.
For all you anoraks out there it was a Rozzi ER42/5500F4, and this one is going to handle massive amounts of general waste.
The grab has an open jaw width of 3.3m and a load capacity of 4000 dm³ in one mouth full, tine force is 9,700 Kgs.
Weighing in at 3,800Kg the grab is powered by a 22Kw electric drive motor which produces 180 bar of working pressure.
Electronically driven this grab is suspended from an overhead crane and will spend it’s entire life indoors.
Its location is a bit on the hush hush side of things mainly I think because of its chosen power supply.
This is generated by a treadwheel rotated by 2 gerbils and a ferret and if the sweat generated adds to global warming issues then one of the Royal family will be brought in.
That’ll be the non sweating member of the family I’m guessing 😊
