Delivered new in 2005 the used Colmar SB6200-800 Shear Baler is complete but requires some attention to the electrical system and is offered for sale for “spares or repairs” with immediate availability.
The used Colmar shearer baler is ideal for car/vehicle body shells and loose light iron baling and shearing constructional scrap and other non ferrous materials.
A static diesel drive machine the scrap metal shearing baler has a Volvo diesel turbo engine and a 6m long charge box.
Complete with hold down clamp the Colmar SB6200-800 Shear Baler has some electrical issues and cannot be seen working.
With 775 tons of shearing force and 175 tons of baling force the static shear baler has 280 tons of folding power.
Automatic shearing and baling cycles manual control and radio remote control allow the Colmar SB6200-800 to be a one man operated scrap metal processing force.

Colmar began its activity in 1963, thanks to the idea of two gentlemen who started producing machines for the earth-moving and agricultural sector by assembling different parts of military machines left by the American army after World War II.
In 1967, the first Colmar USA Railroad Loader was produced. The machine was used in the construction of the Rome-Venice railroad line in Italy.
In 1968, Colmar USA produced the first semi-mobile industrial loader designed to lift heavy loads by installing a rotating cabin on a lorry chassis.
In the early 70’s, Colmar USA, owing to the experience gathered in the sector of earth moving machines, increased and widened its product range. Furthermore significant improvements of the design procedures aimed to spur the production of industrial loaders and of equipment manufactured for the construction and maintenance of railroads.
In order to expand its product range for the metal recycling business during the 90’s, Colmar USA began the manufacturing of Balers and Shear Balers for ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. In 2000, Colmar USA obtained the ISO 9001:1994 Certification, the highest European Standard of Quality Control Manufacturing.
In 2005, the new CAYMAN series horizontal shears emerged as a new product on the world market. These machines are characterized by their ease of use, their low maintenance requirements, and their high production output.
In 2009, Colmar USA presented its newest stationary shear baler, the EAGLE 1000. One of our largest and strongest shear balers we have in our line.Â
In 2012, Colmar USA became an Arjes distributor for the United States and Canadian market.
